Ideal forcorrosion studies, our 12 mm OD RCE tips accept cylinder inserts (sold separately) fabricated from just about any metal ofinterest. Standard cylinder inserts offered by Pine Research includeseveral varieties of steel; however, cylinders may be made from other materialsupon request. Alternately, cylinder inserts with the appropriate dimensionsmay be fabricated by the customer. A mounting tool (sold separately) isrequired to change the cylinder. The screw-thread connection on the 12.0 mm ODRCE tip fits directly onto the permanent shaft of the CPR rotator. These tips also fit the Pine MSR and ASR rotators when used with theappropriate shafts (see table below).
